BUDGET UNIT 

MISSION     

To allocate resources based on the Government’s priorities and its macroeconomic and fiscal policy goals; and to promote

greater economy and efficiency in the utilization of those resources

VISION         

To prepare the annual budget in a timely and accurate manner; and to pursue and safeguard fiscal health 

 

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

- Preparation of the Annual Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure

- Facilitate and control the implementation of the Budget

- Monitor budget implementation

- Preparation of reports in a timely manner

- Participate in fiscal and economic review, conducted by the ECCB,

   CDB, World Bank, CARTAC and IMF

- Co-ordinate Public Finance Management (PFM) Reform initiatives

                                

 

The Budget Unit is located in the Galleria Mall, Grand Anse St.George.
