GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO MEET ITS COMMITMENT TO WORKERS  

 

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, MONDAY, JANUARY 30, 2017: Government, on Monday January 30^th 2017, kept its promise to clear all outstanding increment payments for the period 2014 – June 2016, on or before February 15^th, 2017.

 

The final installment (2015) was made together with the January 2017 salaries. This follows the payment of the 2014 and 2016 (January – June) installments in December 2016.

 

In addition:

(a)    2017 salaries were adjusted, for normal increments for 2017, for eligible Public officers who are entitled to this adjustment ; and

 

(b)   The salaries of Public Officers, belonging to the unions that have recently negotiated and signed agreements for salary increases, have also been adjusted according.

 

 

These payments have all been made as part of the January 2017 salary payments to Public Officers.
